Al Hidaaya Institute

For Muslims who are tired of reading the translation

Read the Quran in Arabic.
Without the translation.

Two structured programmes - Arabic and Qur'an, taught by teachers who know exactly where beginners get stuck. Whether you're starting from zero or building on what you know.

A free trial lesson with one of our teachers. You'll see exactly how we teach, and where you'd start, before committing to anything.

You've tried before.

You started an app and stopped.

Apps teach you words. They don't teach you how the language actually works.

You can read the script, but nothing lands.

Reading without understanding leaves you exactly where you started.

You don't know what to learn first.

Nahw, sarf, vocabulary, Quranic idiom — with no order, it's overwhelming.

Arabic is not a mountain. It is a road with a beginning. The students who make it are not the ones with more time or more talent - they are the ones who were given the right order to learn things in, and someone to keep them walking. That is the whole method.

What you'll study.

Two programmes, built to work together.

Programme

Journey Into Arabic

From the alphabet to reading classical texts. You'll learn how the language actually works — nahw, sarf, and the vocabulary the Quran uses most — in an order that builds instead of overwhelming.

Two routes inside

  • Hidaayatul Murid — our own curriculum, built from the ground up for absolute beginners.
  • Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk — the classical route, real-life conversation from day one.

Programme

Guided by the Qur'an

Recitation, memorisation, and tajweed with patient correction and a structured plan built around you. Most students hear the difference in their own recitation within the first few lessons.

What we focus on

  • Tajweed — proper pronunciation, corrected gently and consistently.
  • Memorisation — a realistic plan you can actually keep to.

Learn wherever you are, whenever you want.

What makes the programme actually work.

A structured path to real Arabic fluency.

We teach Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk because its immersive, conversation-based approach builds real fluency — structured progression through practical vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing. Not rules memorised and forgotten, but Arabic you can actually use.

How the Qur'an programme is structured.

From your first letters to a memorisation plan you can keep.

Every student starts in a different place. We assess where you are, then build from there — pronunciation first, tajweed second, and memorisation once the foundation will hold it. Patient correction throughout, from teachers who have taught this many times before.

From our students.

My experience with Al Hidaaya Institute has been very good. I've enrolled in 2 Arabic institutes previously and really struggled, either I was overloaded with work I struggled to understand, or I wasn't going at a pace that suited me. With Al Hidaaya I go at my own pace, and I've seen myself progress more in these 2 months than with the others. I really get to learn Arabic and have a laugh with the teacher. I don't move on from a lesson until I have fully understood it. I've made excellent progress and I'm excited for what the future holds, in shaa Allah.

Anwar

United Kingdom

Alhamdulillah I've completed the juzz. I'm so happy Allah has given me the ability to complete it, so I can have something to show Him on the Day of Judgement. I know I have another 29 juzz to do but by the help of Allah I will complete it. I just want to say thank you for helping me get through it, you are a good teacher.

Jameel

United Kingdom

The lessons were well structured and Idiris has a way of explaining that makes Arabic seem easy. He is a patient and very knowledgeable teacher.

Omar Ceresoli

Italy

I've found the lessons to be extremely beneficial. The improvement I've seen in a short time is massive, especially as you place good focus on the importance of grammar, this being my weak area. Lessons are structured well, with a good balance of interaction and explanation.

Mohib

United Kingdom

Been a student for half a year now. Could not ask for better service the quality my tutor teaches at is always so attentive. He sends clear communication and makes sure you understand before he moves on.

Who you'll learn from.

Every lesson is taught by someone who has walked this road themselves.
